I'm Aleesah Darlison, creator and founder of Kids Book Box. I'm also a multi-published, award-winning author and an advocate for Australian children's literature.
Having immersed myself in the children's book writing and publishing industry for almost two decades, I feel I'm in the perfect position to source fabulous children's titles to include in Kids Books Boxes. I have extensive knowledge about what's being published. I read widely within the various children's and young adult genres. And I'm personally familiar with the many talented Australian authors and illustrators who pour their heart and soul into creating stunning books for young readers to savour.
In my writing - and now through Kids Book Box - I've made it my mission to empower children through stories and to place important, interesting, entertaining, and educational books into their hands.
